A sump pump sits in a pit in the lowest part of your basement and pushes groundwater away from the house. When it fails, you usually find out during heavy rain, which is the worst time. Common problems include a pump that will not turn on, one that runs constantly, a stuck float switch, strange noises, or a pump that is simply worn out. We handle both sump pump installation and repair. If your pump is failing, we check the pump, float and discharge line and tell you whether it can be repaired or should be replaced. If you do not have a pump yet and your basement takes on water, we can install one. We are licensed and insured, and our estimates are free.
